- Weed control in April-May and fertilize in Fall (like you would wheat) and February (50 lb N/Acre).
- Adaptation to Northern most areas of Texas, currently under evaluation (2006). Stand in fair condition after 1-6 years.
- Requires a clean seed bed for good establishment.
- Medium palatability.
- High seedling vigor.
- Pull-off by June 1st to allow rest and avoid loosing stand in the long term.
- Stocking rates of 1.5 animals units/Acre (250 cow-calf pair/240 acres) reported by ranchers in North Texas.
